David is an attorney at Banker’s Hill Law Firm, A.P.C. (BHLF), with a practice in personal injury and consumer law. Before rejoining BHLF, David practiced law at a California class action and complex litigation firm, collaborating with partners across multiple states, including Michigan, Montana, Texas, and Florida. In this capacity, he zealously represented clients in cases involving personal and catastrophic injuries, class actions, solar energy matters, and consumer rights issues.
During his time in law school, David gained valuable insights into the legal system as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Mitchell D. Dembin at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He also honed his skills in securities law while interning at the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (formerly the Department of Business Oversight).
David’s dedication to justice continued to shine as he served as a Certified Legal Intern at the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office. There, he successfully co-counseled his first criminal trial to verdict and handled cases throughout all stages of prosecution.
His academic excellence is reflected in his achievement of a Juris Doctorate Cum Laude with Honors from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. David’s outstanding performance earned him the Jefferson Medal of Academic Excellence and multiple CALI Awards. His commitment to scholarly pursuits extended to his membership as a writer in Law Review and consistent placement on the Honor Roll. Additionally, he was honored as a member of the J. Clifford Wallace Inn of Court.
David’s journey with BHLF began in 2013 when he assumed the role of Director of Marketing and Business Development. He attributes much of his success to the unwavering support he has received from BHLF, dating back to his early days with the firm.
Beyond his legal expertise, David is bilingual in both English and Spanish. He resides in San Diego with his wife, Carolina, and their Shih Tzu, “Dona.”
